About me...

A little bit about me and my journey through life as a Human, as a man among men.

My story

A long journey has brought me to where I am today; a man of fire, a man anchored in his sacred masculine and a moon dancer. The red path, from body to spirit, that I've been walking for over 10 years, as well as learning the medicine wheel of several nations (Mexico, Quebec and the United States), are all part of my evolution. Connected to nature, I'm sensitive to what it can tell me, transmit to me, and I let myself be carried intuitively by this connection, which I generously pass on to others.

But to get to this point, I've spent years in personal development and all kinds of training. First of all, I trained as a chef, a profession that was unfortunately not recognized in the early 2000s, which meant that I rather survived in my first years of professional life. It's only in the last ten years or so that this profession has really begun to fascinate me, and I've developed my own path through different areas of the kitchen (from popular franchises to small restos, as well as daycares and centers for the elderly.

During this time, I learned massage therapy and discovered the energetic side and magic that my hands could bring. I also took a course in reprogramming kinesiology (total biology) and a transformational coaching course with the Actin Coach Academy, which deepened the work and discovery of who I am.

Subsequently, my life path led me to connect with the energy of shamanism and the sacred connection to all living things. Ceremonies and retreats to connect with nature took me to Mexico for moon dances. Ceremonies where I learned to connect with something greater than myself.

I also experienced a journey of initiation into the Mexican desert with the medicine of this region; this journey gave me a reason to exist and I committed myself to being in service during moon ceremonies for 6 years. This commitment enabled me to receive the teachings of Mexico.

For the past 5 years, following this quest for self-knowledge, I have been developing culinary creations for spiritual retreats and other personal development events. I put all my culinary experiences into practice, and add the spiritual connection, all through my posture as a man of fire, anchored to the earth and respectful of life.

The creation of handicrafts and sacred objects came naturally through shamanic retreats, during which I learned to weave, make rattles, drums, pouches and so on. Each object is unique, as I only create from special orders.

Finally, I've been part of the Mankind Project community for over 5 years, and it's growing all the time. For the past 4 years, I've been a member of the Board of Directors, and for the past year and a half, I've had the privilege of being its Director. With our fiery team, we are overcoming challenges and taking the reins to make the community grow even more. MKP's vision is to change the world one man at a time. I'm living proof of that.

Why Jaguar de Feu (Jaguar of Fire)?

Thank you for reading this far! Here's the long-awaited answer to your question.

During the moon dance ceremonies in Mexico, I was given the name Tepeyolotzin (Tepeyolotl + zin de Atzin), which means “Heart of the Mountain, who learns to honor and respect himself”, the jaguar being the human form. Atzin comes to soften the Ego part of the Mountain God.

Also, the name Jaguar of Fire comes from the fusion of the name of my animal ally in my community of men and my Nahuatl name (Tepeyolotzin). Furthermore, since I'm a Fire Keeper in my community's protocols, the two came together naturally.

Thank you for reading this far, you know a little more about me.
